The Deep V

Hello All,
How are you today? Well I hope.
Still on a black kick, so black and metallic it is, re-creating an evening look.
This deep v open back bat sleeve black dress is one sexy number but dare I say not over the top.
Though the front has a bit of an opening, it allows for great coverage as well, yes ladies, a sexy dress without feeling so bare:), not to mention that back opening, what's there not to love?
I choose the black heels to give a more polished look and for colour, I paired my new favourite pouch. Now ready for an evening out.
Have a happy Wednesday.

Hello,
Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I had a great weekend myself, so I'm ready for this week.
I'm in a black and white mood for the week, feeling a bit nostalgic I guess, love the bright hues I toy with as they get me out of my comfort zone, thank God for that but the monochrome hues are more my speed.
I love this top, it's fun, frilly, and feminine so I decided to give it a bit of a masculine appeal by pairing it with these longer hemline city shorts. To keep on with the sleek vibe, I opted for my clean black heels and a classic handbag to close.
A clean look is more my speed and when I discover tops such as this, it is definitely a great way to have fun with my femininity.
Have a great rest of your day.
Love you for stopping by.

Chambray On Graffiti

Hello,
Happy Friday all. Hope you've had a wonderful week.
On a casual vibe today on the blog with this chambray tunic and shorts. We've been experiencing really hot temperatures here in Denver, so an attempt to keep cool to trim off a few layers; it is summer after all.
I love this tunic because the embroidery reminds me of patterns that you'd see on some African pieces such as "Dashiki" and that's a plus for me. Sadly, I do not own many African inspired pieces so, I love to collect some that embodies that element here and there. I paired the top with the chambray shorts because the pairing seemed to work well together, don't you agree?
Hope you'll stop by again soon.

Jacquard On Jacquard

Dress: Asos, Get it Here, Other Versions Here, Here, Here & Here
Clutch: Clare Vivier, Here
Shoes: Manolo Blahnik

Hello,
Happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
For a girl who usually does not gravitate towards fitted dresses, might I say I may have now been reformed? Love this jacquard print "wiggle" dress as described by the maker.
The fabrication is wonderful, the colours are great and the fit is just right.
I decided to pair it with another print by pulling from one of the hues on the dress, this Clare Viver clutch felt right. The jacquard (on the dress) on jacquard (on the clutch) did not feel overwhelming, not to mention the shade of blue from the clutch just added the right amount of wink to the look.
I opted for the metallic shoes because I did not want to overpower an otherwise vibrant look.
Do stop by again soon.
